Strategic Investment Provides Growth Capital to the Fast-Growing, Disruptive Technology Building Products Company
February 28, 2018
Beloit, WI – Hendricks Holding Company, Inc. (HHC) announced today that they have acquired a minority stake in Composite Panel Systems, LLC of Eagle River, Wisconsin. HHC views this investment and relationship as a strategic opportunity to assist an innovative management team with launching a truly disruptive new building products technology.
Composite Panel Systems (CPS) has secured national, third party, building code compliance certification through NTA, Inc. for CPS’s patent protected EPITOME QUALITY Foundation Walls. Epitome wall systems are a cost effective replacement for current concrete applications for basement, below ground foundational wall systems. Epitome walls are structurally stronger, water resistant, fire resistant, carry a higher insulation R-factor and most importantly, require significantly less labor hours to install versus a poured or concrete block basement foundation.
With HHC’s knowledge of the building products markets, HHC looks forward to collaborating with CPS’s current management team to successfully bring the EPITOME wall system to residential home builders nationally. With EPITOME, summer basement humidity will be eliminated without the use of a dehumidifier, R values of approximately 16.5 for EPITOME walls versus and R value of 1 for concrete, the elimination of horizontal wall cracking and acoustic profile improvements, are offered to new home owners at an extremely affordable price point.
